The class was awsome! Something I never ever dreamed of doing, but so glad I did. It was a fun experience. Drew was a great instructor, very hands on and patient and willing to help me as I fell behind! The bottle opener that we forged is very unique in itself being metal from an old 1800's barn but then we personalized it by choosing our own personal stamp! Super cool and fun project! Highly recommended! Thanks again Drew! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

As a retired instructor myself, I believe that Drew used used his time effectively and efficiently; he moved at an appropriate pace, projected well, answered questions in a timely manner, and "owned the space." His combined use of a tablet screen, the chalkboard, and live demonstration adequately delineated the expectations of the project. (I would recommend several "in progress" displays on the table so that participants can compare/"check their work" along the way...i.e. one piece of straight rebar with a flattened tip, one piece with a properly curled tip, and one piece with a curled tip and a flattened "tail."

As an artisan, I certainly understand the concept of "more students means more money coming in," but 11 was too large of a class and meant that many similar-looking pieces of metal were repeatedly in and out of the forge. I was mildly disappointed that what was supposedly "mine" at the end of the day was not the piece I had created--it had not been worked anywhere near as much, nor did it bear the stamp that I had hammered in.

Overall, a very good job of instructing and a positive experience...
